Holocaust Shoes for Darfur

TERRE HAUTE — CANDLES Holocaust Museum partners with Samaritan's Feet to collect 1,000,000 pairs of shoes for all the barefoot and persecuted children in Darfur! Join us for the national shoe drive kickoff on Saturday, August 23 at noon at CANDLES Museum, 1532 S. Third St., Terre Haute, IN! The founder and CEO of Samaritan's Feet, Manny Ohonme, will be here to help us start this project.

TERRE HAUTE — CANDLES Holocaust Museum is working with the national organization Samaritan's Feet to collect 1,000,000 pairs of shoes for all the barefoot kids in Darfur!
Join us for the national shoe drive kickoff on Saturday, August 23 at noon at CANDLES Museum, 1532 S. Third St., Terre Haute, IN! The founder and CEO of Samaritan's Feet, Manny Ohonme, will be here to help us start this project.


How to participate:

For Individuals

  • Buy a pair of shoes and donate them to a collection center

  • Make a financial donation

  • Organize a shoe drive

  • Contact shoe dealers and ask them to donate shoes

For Shoe Dealers

  • Donate shoes!

  • Give a discount to customers who buy shoes for this project

  • Help us advertise this project

New athletic shoes only, please--no used or dress shoes!
